a blog, short for WebLog, is just a collaboration of ideas, opinions, comments, statements and other forms of communication, basically in a topic-based hierarchy. people "blog" about many different things from recipes, how one's day is going, experiences on the subway, to anything you can think off. it would not be a problem if the army were to blog, depending on what they were blogging about, since you can blog about anything it's ok for a soldier to publicly blog about how his time in iraq is going, but probably not ok to blog about the logistics of government equipment and tactics or whatnot... internet or intranet would be up to what the content is based on. blogging is encouraged by everyone because it's a way for many people to collaborate many different ideas, it's a highly productive modern form of communication.
Reply:No.........army shoud not blog onto net....

it'd become a big security hole.It must be in private network only.
Reply:Not recommended for army. One is likely to have security lapses.
