for anyone on a blog site or not, i am just wondering how many people out there actually read blogs.. (not really talking about myspace blogs, i am more talking about blogs on blog specific sites..) i have an anonymas blog, and i do read my friends on the sites blogs, but dont really venture to other blogs unless they leave a comment on mine.. also, what is your favorite blog site?? mine is thoughts.com but then again that is really the only blog site i have been on..
Do you actually read blogs?
I do read other blogs from time to time, particularly if the writer shares my interests or happens to be a friend. I really like the RSS feature that most blogs offer now. I can use Firefox or Google Reader to keep tabs on blogs or sites I like and visit them when I see an update.
I can't really say I have a favorite site--the contents of a blog mean much more to me than the site on which it is hosted. That said, I do like the blogging software offered by Wordpress (and you can have your blog hosted on the site as well). Just find a free hosting company that offers a free MySQL database, and use an FTP program to upload the latest version of Wordpress. All you need to do in follow the simple wizard (mainly the connection to the MySQL database) and you are ready to role. I even find it fun to post interesting math questions, funny quotes, or good jokes on my blog.
