Hi There, I am currently looking at setting up a blog for my company to enable better communication. Although it seems with a blog only one person can enter blogs. And the rest just comment on them. I want to have it so 20 people can enter blogs in the one blog area. I am just trying to stream line communication as we are in the consulting business i would love a web based site we could all add stuff on from anywhere in the world. Does anyone know if anything like this exists? I would also prefer this not to be viewable by the public if possible. Also needs to be free or minimal cost.

Saving blogs on CD?
I'm proud of my blogs and would like to save them on CD. Does anyone know how I could do that. I would want continuity - to not have other page details included...just the blogs. Thanks.

What happened to my MySpace blogs?
I went to read over my old blogs when I discovered that the older ones were just gone. I got to the end of the page and and didn't see a Next button to click or anything. I went to click on View All Blogs and it ended at the same spot it did on the actual blog page. Do older blogs expire after a while or what? If so, is there a way to NOT make that happen? I want to keep my blogs! Please help!

I am going to have to disagree with jaxicle here. A multi-topic blog may catch the wayward search engine victim but it is a brief useless visit. These blogs generate only the random hit.
A blog with a theme or purpose will usually rank much higher (closer to page 1 on the searh result) when the topic they cover is searched on yielding a better chance to lure the interested party. A second effect is that there is much of interest for the visitor and they are likely to bookmark the blog, view archived entries, return and subscribe to the RSS feed (yielding more hits).
I would say over 75% of my blog hits are returns to themed blogs that I get value from.

OK, I am new to this whole "Blog" thing. I am in my mid 30's and did not really grow up in the computer tech era. Anyway's, surfing around and learning about the blogs. Seems pretty cool and a good way for people from all around to communicate.
I have noticed one thing, the 360 blogs are like a feeding grounds for lesbian women! Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against lesbians. Infact I would probably be the worlds biggest lesbian if I where a woman. But most of the women on here are just plain mean to men. It's not that they just don't like us sexually, and that is fine, but they really seam to just have a real genuine hatred of us.
My question... Lesbian women, why do you have such a black spot in your heart and soul for men? Again, not sexually, thats not where I am going with this. My God, do think of your Fathers and brothers with the same hate? Can you explain this to me?

You're not the only one this is happening to. This happens to me as well. I think it's yet another Yahoo! glitch. I have been finding my older blog entries using my tag cloud instead.

360 blogs and supposed violations?
2 of my blogs were deleted. The pic used was with permission, and the link to the persons page was with permission. The only person mentioned in the blog is no longer on 360 and also has a common name. The content was true and proven with the link. How can I retrieve the blogs and have them reinstated?

Dear Representative:
Whenever I clicked 'News' for a specific country, I always had a list of blogs and a link to Flickr photos from that particular country. Now the blog link is gone as well as automatic access to Flickr. This is TOTALLY unacceptable to me and I would appreciate my blog and Flickr links being restored ASAP to the News pages of the countries of my choosing. I have always enjoyed reading the blogs and viewing photos from others, relevant to a particular country, and find your sudden and unexplained deletion of these links quite aggravating and annoying.

It seems those margins are left for other links such as links to friends' blogs, list of your own blogs, your pic, and perhaps ads from Y! and Google networks as well. There are many blogs that I saw on Wordpress that did not have the margins that you talk about. Only that many themes are designed so.

Just quickly reading my 360 page, i noticed that in the "home" section two of my friends on 360 had new blogs. As i'm sure most people would do, i tried to read them. But for some reason when i clicked on to see the blog the last blog came up, that i had already read. This happened with another friend a short while ago. Any idea's why this would be happening - is there something wrong, or is there a reason for this?

Are company blogs a good idea?
Some say that company blogs positively encourage employees to play an active role in the formation of ideas within a company and they essentially make employees happy workers because they feel included and loved. However, to what extent do company blogs encourage workers to procrastinate and post about office gossip? So, company blogs - good or bad?

Blogging, expressing opinions and collaborative brainstorming is certainly a great idea and a few large companies, like Microsoft have already a system for corporate blogging. If you feel that the system is going to being actively used and an asset for the company, I'd say go for it and start a small pilot project within a department.

Yahoo 360 is in a beta version. There are bugs. Now, you may find that as you post more entries - a list of them will appear in the blog space on either "My Page." It might not happen. That's how it goes in beta world.
I looked at both 360 pages and they show the latest entry on the "My Page." In order to see the other entries, a visitor has to click on the "more" or "View Blog" link in that section and scroll down.
Yahoo Answers is not the Yahoo 360 team. This is an answer board comprised of mostly regular Yahoo users like you. If you have a technical issue, you should contact the 360 team directly via their online help form at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/for... .

My blogs have suddenly stopped appearing..why? I know they're there and can download them still?
I have had my friends check my page to see if they can see my blogs and they can't. It show as though I haven't started any blogs yet. My blog settings are set right and when I check to see how my page looks to friends and public the blogs are not showing. When I click on create a blog it takes me to an earlier blog. I've heard of others complaining about this same thing but haven't found out if their problem ever cleared up. My friends are asking why I have stopped my blogging. Any suggestions?

for anyone on a blog site or not, i am just wondering how many people out there actually read blogs.. (not really talking about myspace blogs, i am more talking about blogs on blog specific sites..) i have an anonymas blog, and i do read my friends on the sites blogs, but dont really venture to other blogs unless they leave a comment on mine.. also, what is your favorite blog site?? mine is thoughts.com but then again that is really the only blog site i have been on..

What blogs you visit regularly?
Most of the bloggers have their favorite blogs that they are visiting regularly. SO what is your favorite blogs and why do you like to visit those blogs?

I don't visit blogs, blogs visit me. Once I find a blog I like I subscribe to the RSS feed so that updates are sent directly to my RSS reader. That way there is no reason to check a site for updates even if they aren't updated 9/10 times I visit them.
If you are interested I have started my own blog, which will contain personal experiences, religious debate, and programming and design stuff.

How to hide other blogs?
I hid the extened network and blogs already and I have links to go to other blogs the problem is when u click everything here it shows all the blogs I have and I want to hide all the blogs and make one of the blog to show up that has links to other blogs. How do I do that.
p.s: i need to know cause I bearly started a layout site

you don t have to go through all of that.click on one of you blogs. (the ones you want private) hit edit. on the bottom of the blog there will be a section tyhat says private, preffered list, or public... select one of those andsave it. then it will only be viewable by the catergory youve3 selected.

I am not sure if it is because I am tired and should be sleeping or if something happened?
When I look at other peoples 360 pages, their blogs are right there on top.
Mine is showing me with my interests and lists on top and no blogs?
I have several blogs.
I am just wondering what other people are seeing and if I am the only one that can't see them.
The only way I can is to click on my (MY BLOG) button.

Blogs almost vanished!?
I was making a new blog for my 360 page and when I clicked post this entry, all my blogs had vanished!! Where they would have normally been was a box that said Start a Blog! Yikes! So I clicked back on the browser and added more text, this time when I clicked post entry, all my blogs were ther except for my new one! I clicked back again and hit cancel this time, and when the browser brought me back to my page all my blogs were there, along with the new one, what gives???

MySpace Blogs?
When you go to Blog under your picture, is there a way to view more than 15 blogs?
Say I have 16 blogs, my 1st blog disappears until I delete one of the other ones!
I can't find a next button or anything...
I know about the Customize Blog ad then changing the Blogs Per Page, but since I have more than 15, do I have to keep deleting blogs to view past ones?!
Umm.. If you need this to be more detailed, I will try my best, I've been having trouble explaining this..
