Explain blogs to me?

I don't get it. I am completely oblivious to blogs. Time and time again, people talk about them; but what are they really? I feel out of touch with my generation. Or maybe they are out of touch with reality.

Explain blogs to me?
They are journals you can share with people or just make private to yourself or just friends. I have been on Yahoo 360 for 2 years and love it and have met many friends from all over the world.


I started cause I lost my daughter who died in a car wreck 3 years ago. It really helped me to talk about it with other people.(Talk meaning , write about it and people comment and I comment back) I also talk about my 2 dogs. LOL Also, grand-kids and my sons. My problems in everyday life too. We share music and videos and many humerus things. Jokes are good too.


Some are serious and some not. But it is a great interaction between people.


360 is great but there are many others. I find 360 not so cluttered like MYSPACE. MYSPACE seems more of a dating type blog. I also like piczo. They are easy to use and if you can't get something, people will help you.
