I'm trying to make an effort to stay better informed. I've always liked reading blogs, so I figured it would be a better way than reading the new york times every morning. I'm interested in blogs which deliver an almost non-partisan review of the news. and some which provide commentary on either side, but aren't completely radical. i mean by that michelle malkin and the like. i use a conservative because that's all i can think of right now, but the same applies to liberals.
I already know about google news and etc. Please don't link me to newspaper or magazine sites ;(.
What blogs do you read to keep up with current events and politics?
Since Blogs are based on personal opinions they cannot be counted on as a source of correct news.

It's not news, it's FARK
Reply:Fark is good...
I suggest the BBC. It's a real new site, but's it's really good. and not always boring. Who doesn't love British humor?

Reply:blogs, however good and entertaining, are personal opinions, I still rely on CNN and the newspaper
Reply:None.
Most are still not a real source of news.
Reply:Blogs are for idiots. People who watch FOX news also read blogs.

Andrew Sullivan (center right): www.andrewsullivan.com
Daniel Drezner: http://www.danieldrezner.com/blog/
The blog roll on each of those places is also worth checking out.
Reply:I like to follow the evolution vs intelligent design issue. So I watch http://www.talkorigins.org
My personal favorite is http://www.wolverinesden.org/
Reply:No blog is going to be as up-to-date as a news website. A collection of various news websites would be even better. Also, not many (if any) blogs are going to be non-partisan, which journalists, as a rule, should be.
