Online support blogs/chats for weight loss?

Does anyone know of some good online support blogs or chats for weight loss, or specifically for people looking to lose a lot of weight? I used to belong to Weight Watchers and participated in their online blogs, but people could get pretty catty on that site. I have since moved on to a more holistic-focused type of weight loss/wellness program, and would like some type of support system for people experiencing the same type of situation I am.

Try joining a local gym geared toward people in your demographic. That way you can get the support in real life too.

Reply:i personally use www.sparkteens.com if your under 18 like me you should use it its awsome they give you meal plans excercise videos tips and more more more!! but if your 18 and over you should use www.sparkpeople.com for adults you get the same stuff just its for adults!:) plus its all free both sites are free!!!! its awsome check it out:)

It's great! You can plan your daily calorie intake and plan your activity for the day with a meter to calculate what you have burned so far and calories you have left to consume throughout the day. Also has a forum to motivate you and the most important thing of all is REAL PEOPLE to talk to and motivate you throughout your journey. Online dieting FTW!.
